WHAT IS KRAV MAGA?

Krav Maga - Hebrew for "contact combat", is a modern and highly effective form of self-defense designed to, in the shortest amount of time, teach anyone (regardless of age, gender or physical strength) to effectively defend themselves.Krav Maga is not a traditional or sport-based martial art: there are no competitions, rules, regulations or "forms" (stylized fighting against imaginary opponents), but instead a purpose-built self-defense system.   As a fast and easy to learn self-defense, Krav Maga system is ideal for busy, security-conscious people who are looking for a great workout that is fun.Simple and quick to learn: Krav Maga does not require special physical abilities, ie: flexibility, strength or acrobatics.  It is a simple effective system that based on natural reflexes and emphasizing rapid responses, practical techniques that are applicable even under extreme psychological pressure of violent attacks or surprise.Effectiveness: Krav Maga techniques are designed to achieve maximum results with minimum effort, exploiting attacks/counterattacks to “soft” spots on the body of the attacker. Due to the simplicity of the system, effective techniques can be learned at a low training effort.Authenticity: Krav Maga is not trained in padded rooms or in stylish fitness studios, but in open gyms or even outdoors. The rougher and more strenuous the exercise, the more effective the results!
